Halloween Cocktails

1. Creepy Bubble Halloween Cocktails
Tapioca is pretty creepy.

2. Poison Apple Punch
Another virgin drink, this ginger beer and apple juice creation surely wouldn’t mind a few splashes of spiced rum.
Recipe:
- a 12 Bottle Bar Original
- 2 parts Spiced Apple Juice
- 1 part Ginger Beer
- 0.5 part Raspberry Syrup
Add all ingredients to a punch bowl and give a stir
Garnish with the discarded cinnamon and cloves from the Spiced Apple Juice, with sliced apples, or as you prefer

3. Eyeball-tinis
Radishes are the trick for these blood-shot eyes.
Recipe:
Veins and all, this carved radish eyeball is a fantastic accent for a classic gin martini. Up the creep factor by leaving the amp;ldquo;optic nerveamp;rdquo; (or hairy root end) attached.
- 2 oz gin or vodka
- 1/4 oz dry vermouth
- Eyeball
- 1 radish
- 1 pimiento-stuffed green olive

Funny Costumes
10. Bat Child – All Grown Up
Remember that hilarious old cover of the Weekly World News? Well this creative fellow turned it into a Halloween costume.

9. You Tube Video – with Penis Transplant
Clever idea, but not the best subject matter. Of course he will be knocking over everything and bumping into everyone, but what makes this so embarrassing is the the “Related Videos” to the right: The World’s First Penile Transplant?

8. Maternity Room
Ah, the miracle of birth. Who knew a maternity ward could be portable.

Halloween Safety Tips

Keep Your Property Well-Lit – Trick-or-treaters will be coming and going throughout the evening, so don’t make it impossible for them to find your front porch. By keeping the path to your home and front step well-lit, you can prevent trick-or-treaters from taking a painful fall (a liability claim just waiting to happen). Halloween home safety bonus: burglars are also less likely to attack a well-lit home.
Get Extra Homeowners Insurance – When it comes to Halloween home safety, it’s a good idea to contact your home insurance agent and request additional coverage for the night. Opening your home, even if it’s just your front porch, to the public leaves you vulnerable to all kinds of claims and lawsuits.
Keep Property Unobstructed – This goes along with the “well-lit” rule. Halloween home safety means keeping the area around your home unobstructed so children and accompanying parents don’t stumble or hurt themselves on anything that may lead to a liability suit. Clear any lawn decorations, hoses, gardening tools, toys, etc., from your property to practice Halloween home safety.
Be Careful With Candles – One of the most common homeowners insurance claims are the result of fire damage in the home. Good Halloween home safety means being extra careful with lit candles around the house and on your front porch, where trick-or-treaters may bump into them. For maximum Halloween home safety, use battery-powered lanterns.
